Robert Andrew HAMILTON Impaired Driving

(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TWP, ON) On June 7, 2025, at approximately 6:00 p.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision in the area of Harris Street and Sammon Drive, in Rockwood.
It was reported that a pickup truck had collided with a parked vehicle and then left the scene. Police located the driver and damaged pickup truck nearby. No injuries were reported.
As a result of the investigation, Robert Andrew HAMILTON, 67-years-old of the Township of Guelph-Eramosa, was charged with:
Operation while impaired alcohol and drugs contrary to the Criminal Code
Operation while impaired blood alcohol concentration 80 plus
Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice Guelph, on June 17, 2025.
